Beginning the 2025-26 School Year, our choir program will slightly adjust to accommodate the new block scheduling.
Viking Voices 2025 – Directed by Alexa Cotran
Tenor and Bass 9th and 10th grade singers or those with beginning to intermediate music literacy skills. This ensemble will now combine with the Bel Canto Singers to become an entry/intermediate level Mixed Choir. This Choir will meet during 2nd Block every day.
Bel Canto Singers – Directed by Kimberly Colón
Soprano/Alto Choir for 9th grade singers or those new to the choir program. This ensemble will now combine with the Viking Voices to be one entry level mixed choir during 2nd Block.
SHS Choristers – Directed by Alexa Cotran
Honors Treble Choir for advanced treble singers. This choir will now meet during 3rd Block.
Chorale – Directed by Kimberly Colón
Honors level, auditioned mixed choir is comprised of SATB Juniors and Seniors singers with advanced choral and vocal techniques, music literacy and sight singing skills. This ensemble meets fifth period every day.
Corporation (SHS Pop Group) – Directed by Kimberly Colón and Alexa Cotran
Highly selective, auditioned show choir ensemble of 16 members. This ensemble meets every day during seventh period.
